Mackenzie Galloway is an artist and designer from South Amboy, New Jersey, where her sense of place and environment informs her creative perspective. Growing up surrounded by coastal textures, shifting light, and everyday visual contrasts shaped her appreciation for subtlety, balance, and authenticity. These elements continue to influence her work today.

Her practice is driven by intuition, detail, and a strong sense of visual storytelling. Existing in the space between polish and imperfection, her work favors texture, balance, and elements that feel intentionally made rather than mass-produced. Each piece is shaped through an iterative process, where refinement is guided as much by feeling as by function.

She approaches design with precision and openness, allowing ideas to evolve while remaining anchored to a clear vision. Subtle shifts in color, light, and form play a central role in her practice, reflecting a sensitivity to nuance and cohesion. The final work is never accidental. "For as long as I can remember, I have used art and design as a way of expressing myself. My creativity and the way I view the beauty of the world has formed me into who I am today, as well as how I express myself through my works. From drawing, painting, and digital illustration, I began to create different designs, logos, and patterns in my head. As I got older, I realized I can use this skill within graphic design concepts, and pursue a career in what I have a strong passion for. From my experiences, I've learned to carry myself as the strong woman I am, as well as apply myself with the skills I gain from my education."
